This Japanese four-stroke engine from Yamaha with an original power of 9.9 horsepower is sold under the Selva brand with the only change being the color of the engine cover. The 5xs designation is due to the easily removable accelerator lever stop limiting the maximum power and thus it belongs to the 5 horsepower engine family. This two-cylinder with a robust construction guarantees reliability and indestructibility which is a given of the Japanese brand.
