Generators, power plants

Diesel or gasoline generators , power plants, are used as a backup source during power outages or in places where electricity is not available. They can produce electrical energy using a combustion engine and a generator.

We distinguish between types of generators according to the type of construction - power plants , e.g. inverter power plants - a compact device resembling a suitcase, used mainly for powering fine electronics in caravans, camping, but also for fishermen, and power plants with an AVR system - they offer the possibility of automatic voltage regulation, for powering fine electronics such as computers or televisions.

We distinguish between types of power plants by phase into single-phase power plants and appliances (230 V), for occasional use in the house and cottage, and three-phase power plants and appliances (400 V), which are mainly used in industry and heavy construction.

Types of power generators by fuel type are gasoline power generators - however, they are used more for a shorter period of time and for undemanding operation, mostly single-phase, and diesel power generators (diesel), which look more robust, heavier, usually made for three-phase appliances and machines. You will often encounter them in industry or on construction sites. Their great advantage, however, is that you can safely use them as a backup source for the entire house.
