Piranha 5XS is the best-selling and most popular 5 horsepower four-stroke engine in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Thanks to its low weight and the ability to easily return to its original power of 9.9 horsepower. The engine is originally designed as a 9.9 horsepower and its power is reduced to 5 horsepower in order to achieve a longer service life by reducing power. Therefore, it is sold under the name 5XS. This model has undergone three development evolutions (improvements) since its first launch in 2007. In 2018, Selva also introduces a model with an integrated ISB battery, which is stored under the engine cover to ensure easy starting and at the same time does not interfere with the boat during navigation.
